Again in olden instances, when I took the Orange Line to do the job each and every working day, unmasked and oblivious, I passed the time by listening to my preferred podcast, Slayerfest ’98.
The podcast is all about “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” which occurs to be my beloved display of all time.
Fundamentally, just about every episode of Slayerfest requires on an episode of “Buffy.” The podcast is about to commence season 7, which implies I have eaten so numerous hours of considerate speak about vampires, humans, and how they deal with every single other — and in some cases date every single other.
This is why the host of Slayerfest ’98, Ian Carlos Crawford, is the subject of period 4, episode 2 of the Like Letters podcast, which is out today.
By listening to Ian’s podcast, I learned a lesson about breakups that not only relates to Buffy (she gets dumped a bunch of moments in that present), but to absolutely everyone who’s ever wondered, “How could this particular person go away me now?”
I get a good deal of letters from unfortunate individuals asking that very dilemma. And to them I react: Is there at any time a superior time to be dumped?
Ian is a thoughtful and humorous storyteller, and it is a good podcast episode for any one who’s ever wondered about the timing of a break up.
A reminder that the topic of year 4 of Really like Letters is “At Any Age.” Ian talks about a romantic relationship he had in his 30s, but this year will also function common tales from subjects 17 to 70.
Also, when you ship a letter to Adore Letters for tips, remember to convey to us your age. It aids us determine out who experiences what and when.
